Beautiful park and set up! My son loves the splash pad and the excavation pavilion the most. It is wonderful that we can eat, play on the playground, run to the water to cool off and play with sand and trucks all in the same place. Kids of all ages have fun here. We will definitely become regular visitors.
I think it's a shame to charge admission to a state park. I pay the county taxes which cover this park but they still charge $ to get in. Even little children, it's a real shame. Another place I won't go to. Not worth the money. Even the bathroom is in bad shape. There's no light in there and my child was afraid to go in plus it was dirty. You'd think with the $ their collecting they would hire someone to clean the bathroom. Don't waste your money here.
Clean, fun, and fenced in. Non residents of Matamoras over age 2 must pay $1 per person for entrance.
Great safe place for kids to meet great play and have fun outdoors.
This is the best park around - they charge $1 for non-residents and it's worth every cent. They have sprinklers in the summer and picnic tables for lunch. The slides and toys are amazing.
