It is a very quiet hotel and I don't hear the neighbors through the walls. Although that may be because the air conditioning unit is quite loud. Loud enough that it drowns out most everything else.

This hotel could be so much more, but right now, it's just deteriorating and it needs help. I have nothing bad to say about the staff. The staff is amazing and is working with what they have, but the hotel is just old and dated and needs work.

Also we had paid for queen beds and we are pretty sure these are only doubles.

Was here with a group of freinds over a weekend and booked 14 rooms. I was amazed how friendly they where, they did their very best and constantly went out of their way to make our stay enjoyable and memorable. It's just an INN, but they have beautiful grounds and a nice big patio to relax. Yes other reviewers are right that it's VERY dated, and I would usually not choose such hotel but keep in mind that they are in process of remodeling and the hotel should feel brand new and modernized around March 2018 (as per management) and they do their best with keeping it clean for the time being.

The restaurant is now closed and it's for the better. The one time I went there, we waited for almost thirty minutes before our waitress arrived and then waited more while our food was prepared. I didn't think the food was all that good either.

The free breakfast is pretty typical but the woman who was serving (Nancy) went out of her way to make us feel welcome and well served.

The staff were friendly including and especially our bartender in the lounge who asked the cook to stay and prepare a meal for us since we arrived in a minute after kitchen closing time.

Alright, I know this hotel is trying, but really they need help. They need a remodel and renovation in the worst way. If this hotel ended up being on Hotel Impossible, I wouldn't be surprised. I've been here twice with my parents as a halfway point for camping at the nearby state park.

The carpet seems nice, but it's either hot or wet and in some spots it's buckled.

Our rooms were located in the middle of a remodel. There were construction supplies and just a general mess up and down the hall outside of our rooms. All of the rooms that were torn up had their doors open showing fresh mud, tiling in progress and pretty stinky.

The bathroom is nice, it is missing a fan though which when you have people showering and using the bathroom, can cause some moisture and scent issues. The television stations leave a lot to be desired, but that didn't bother me much. There were some stations that received static.

The front desk is super nice and very helpful, so please don't get rid of them. The bartender Chris is awesome, but he's doing double duty it seems. Being a bartender and cooking a light menu that wasn't all that impressive. But the cocktail he made me was amazing.

The front lobby is pretty nice. The marble tile is nice and I do love the old brick, but the sliding doors need a little love and care. I had to stop so that I didn't run into the doors.

We have stayed at this property numerous times and have never been disappointed. This time, with my daughter and her family we took the time to enjoy the pool area. There's also a great view availabvle for a little extra $.

Overall, the hotel was clean but we probably would have chosen to go somewhere else had we known that we would be paying over $100 per night to be in a mess.

The elevator is freaking scary. It is very noisy and outdated. Honestly afraid it will break while I'm in it.

Once I found it (there are few signs on I-80 or I didn't see them!) I thought it was an excellent hotel, or it will be when the renovation work is over. It will be an excellent place to spend some relaxing time in the mountains of Pennsylvania. So far, the work is still going on. But the restaurant is finished and very impressive, with a waitress serving coffee or other drinks and a variety of food. The rooms are similar to what I am used to in Rockville MD, tho' maybe even bigger. And the bathroom was slightly bigger too. I will go back and hope to enjoy the beautiful garden at the back. I just wonder if the parking lot will be sufficient considering the number of rooms. Otherwise everything was perfect and the night quiet.

There are also spots where there are signs of leaks from the roof and they use a cinnamon spray to hide whatever smells lurk in the hallway.
